response to the question about secular artists singing gospel
Hello Pastor Johnson, God bless you. A few scriptures came to mind. First, " [Jesus] came to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10. Mark 9:40 says, "For he that is not against us is on our part. " Philippians 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:Philippians 1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:Philippians 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.Philippians 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

secular artists singing gospel
It is good for in this it reveals that they are not living without Christ. Many sing secular music as a job. Just as many sing gospel as a job. We don't know their story and should not look at them in judgment. Secular artists have been writing gospel for years. Lyrics have been changed by labels for the purpose of wealth. When we encourage them and their labels by embracing the transition. It's like draft day.We just got stronger. Now his followers see who he is following and will seek him as well.
