OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Application of Rules. WHZT-FM and WJMZ-FM (the "Stations") regularly conduct contests and sweepstakes where listeners can enter for a chance to win a variety of smaller prizes ("Contests"). Participation in such Contests is subject to these Official Rules. Participation in contests and sweepstakes for which a separate set of rules has been posted and/or announced by the Stations will be subject to such separate rules and will not be subject to these Official Rules.

2. Eligibility Restrictions. Unless otherwise announced on the air for a particular Contest, and subject to the additional restrictions below, Contests sponsored by WHZT-FM and/or WJMZ-FM are open only to South Carolina residents who are 18 years or older at the time of entry and who have not won a prize, and do not reside in the same household as contestant who has won a prize, within the time periods set forth below in Paragraph 3. Employees of Cox Radio, Inc. d/b/a WHZT-FM and WJMZ-FM ("Sponsor"), participating advertisers and co-sponsors, and each of their respective affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the employees of other South Carolina radio and television stations, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws" or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation, or other family extension. The use of automatic telephone dialing equipment or other software or computer assisted dialing equipment is prohibited.

3. Prize Restrictions. No more than one (1) prize per household will be awarded by the Stations in any thirty (30) day period; no more than three (3) prizes per household will be awarded by the Stations in any calendar year; and no more than one (1) prize valued at $1,000 or more will be awarded by the Stations to a single household in any two-year period. A "household" shall include all persons who are domiciled with a contestant at the time of entry.

4. How To Enter. Entry deadlines and instructions for each Contest will be announced on WHZT-FM and/or WJMZ-FM, as applicable. Listeners will be asked to either: (1) be a designated caller at the call-in line announced on the air ("Call-In Line") to win the designated prize; or (2) visit the Station's website (http://hot981.com or http://1073jamz.com, as applicable) to register for a chance to win the designated prize or prizes. Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest. Sponsor will not be responsible for loss of service to the Call-In Line or for a contestant's failure to reach the Call-In Line due to malfunction of any network or system, congestion, overload, busy signals, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call. In the event of interruption of power or telephone service to the Station(s) during a call-in period of the Contest and prior to accepting the designated caller, the call-in period affected by the interruption may or may not be replayed at the resumption of service, at Sponsor's sole discretion. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned.

5. Winner Selection. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, and unless otherwise limited in the applicable on-air announcements for a given Contest, each contestant who is a designated caller to the Call-In Line at the time a Contest call-in opportunity is announced will be declared a Winner. For Contests involving online entries, Sponsor will select the Contest Winner(s) by conducting a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.

6. Prizes and Odds. The prize(s) awarded will vary for each Contest and will be announced on WHZT-FM and/or WJMZ-FM, as applicable. The odds of winning a call-in Contest will depend on the number of eligible persons who call to participate and the order in which such calls are received. The odds of winning an online Contest will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification and Acceptance. Sponsor will notify winners of call-in Contests during their initial telephone call to the Station and upon verification of their eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. For online Contests, winners will be notified by telephone, email and/or U.S. Mail. Return of prize notification as undeliverable and/or Sponsor's inability to reach a winner at the telephone, email and/or U.S. mail address listed on his or her entry form may result in disqualification and selection of a substitute winner. Winners will be required to pick-up their prize(s) at Sponsors' studio, as designated by Sponsor at time of notification, during regular business hours (Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM), unless a winner has made other arrangements with Sponsor's promotional department. Prize(s) must be picked-up within thirty (30) days of winner's notification. Winners must show valid, government-issued photo identification when claiming prize(s). Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and non-transferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. If the prize is a concert or event ticket and such concert or event is cancelled for any reason by a concert or event promoter and not by Sponsor, the prize will be considered void and Sponsor will have no responsibility to provide winner(s) with a substitute prize. No cash equivalents will be provided. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned to Sponsor before prize(s) will be awarded. Failure to timely sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor.

8. Publicity Rights. Except where prohibited, participation in a Contest constitutes each contestant's consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information, likeness, and/or voice in any media and for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Any telephone calls placed to Sponsor's Call-In Line may be recorded for use on air at any time.

9. Disclaimers. By participating, contestants acknowledge and agree that the Sponsor, participating advertisers and co-sponsors, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of the foregoing companies (collectively, the "Contest Entities"), will not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of prize(s), the theft of prizes or mail, travel to and from any prize-related activity, participation in the Contest(s), printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any malfunctions of the telephone network, computer Internet system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or for any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, forged, inaudible, mutilated, mechanically duplicated, mass machine printed, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Contest Entities are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to any participant's or third person's computer and/or its contents, related to or resulting from the Contest(s). By participating, contestants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of a Contest as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event a Contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.

10. Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

11. Sponsor. The Contests are sponsored by Cox Radio, Inc. d/b/a WHZT-FM and WJMZ-FM. The decisions of Sponsor regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of the Contests shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contests.
