17th Annual SpiritFest at the BI-LO Center

ERay Promotions will continue the music celebration - the 17th annual SpiritFest to be held Sunday, August 31, 2008, 6:00pm at the BI-LO Center in Greenville SC. The 17th SpiritFest will celebrate the BI-LO Center 10th year Opening Anniversary. The SpiritFest Concert was part of the opening weekend for the Center and now is one of the longest running events at the venue.

SpiritFest 08 will feature Gospel Dynamic female duo Mary-Mary, Rance Allen and the Rance Allen Group, The legendary and Gospel icon Tramaine Hawkins, Quartet legends The Canton Spirituals, Lee Williams & The Spiritual QCs, The Nicholtown Community Choir and a Community Choir led by upstate legendary song ministers Bonnie Franks and Faith Davis. In a spirit of unity, the artists will come together for a finale at the end of the concert.


SpiritFest 2008, promoted locally by Elijah Ray of ERay Promotions, has become an annual tradition at the BI-LO Center. A Homecoming buffet will be served at 3:00pm on the BI-LO Plaza ($8 per person), Doors open at 4:30pm, Praise & Worship at 5:30pm and the Concert is 6:00-9:30pm.

SpiritFest Legend
Who will be the next SpiritFest Legend? The SpiritFest Legend is Gospel Music's answer to the American Idol concept. The SpiritFest Legend Winner will receive a prize package that includes:

SpiritFest Legend Semifinal will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 107.3 JAMZ Family Reunion at Lakeside Park. The SpiritFest Legend Finale will be held Saturday, August 30, at 6:00pm at the Carolina First Center. Admission: $5.00 with a SpiritFest Concert Ticket. The SpiritFest Legend will be announced at the 17th Year SpiritFest Concert, held on Sunday, August 31 at 6:00pm at the BI-LO Center.

SpiritFest Scholarships
ERay Promotions presents the annual BI-LO/SpiritFest Scholarship, Greenville Hospital System (GHS)/SpiritFest Scholarship and Arche Designs/SpiritFest Laptop giveaway. These scholarships were established to recognize academic excellence and total leadership qualities of minority students. Three $2500.00 scholarships and two laptop computers will be given way to rising high school seniors at the SpiritFest Concert. Check www.ERayPromotions.com for scholarship criteria and application.
