How do I call in?
The Studio Line (contests, requests, comments) is 864-271-1073 or 1-800-767-1073
The Business Office/Front Desk (questions about advertising, prize pickup, general info) is 864-235-1073
Can I advertise on your station?
Yes! We have options for every size business, big and small. Find out more here about advertising on our station! We have the best marketing consultants, creative writers and production staff in the business, and we also offer a LOT more than just radio commercials: digital marketing, event execution, social media, branding, contests, graphic design, you name it! Give us a call to get started: 864-235-1073
How do I get my song on the radio?
Sure, you can send it to us. But the best place to get started is to get signed to a record label. That way, you can focus on your music while those nice folks do all the negotiating! Please note: we are a highly-rated R&B radio station, and we got there by playing songs that are highly-rated on the music charts. If your song is already on the charts, we’re already playing it. If it isn’t there just yet, guess you’ve got some work to do. (TLDR: sending in your song does not mean we will play it.)
I won a prize, how do I pick it up?

Any jobs available at the station?
We’re hiring! Here are our current open positions. Take a quick survey to see if you have what it takes to join our Sales Team! A great place to start (no matter where you want to end up) is on our street team, because you can move up quickly. A lot of (if not most) radio careers are started by popping up tents and handing out t-shirts (including nearly 100% of our current on-air staff)!
Do you have Internships, Job Shadowing or Tours?
Internships? Yes we do, in EVERY department, including on-air!! Find more info here. Please note: internships are available to college students only, and you must receive course credit to qualify as they are unpaid.
For information on Student Job Shadowing or to set up a tour for your group, please contact our office manager here.

Why don’t you play more (artist)?/ Why do you play so much (artist)?
Often, when WJMZ-FM receives a question of this nature, it involves a specific niche type of music that is of interest to a very small percentage of our listeners. For some areas we have special shows that play these types of content. For example, Gospel JAMZ (M-F 4a-6a, Su 7a-1p), Old School Sundays (Su 1-3p), Friday and Saturday Night Mix Shows, etc., are all centered around specific types of music that are often of interest to committed groups of listeners within the larger WJMZ-FM audience. Even so, please do not hesitate to contact us to encourage more of any specific thing in our programming; we use messages from listeners to shape our programming. If we receive the same or similar messages from many listeners, our programming is more likely to change in order to accommodate the specific desires of those listeners.
